  March 19, 2023 - Definitely some funk at the open. A bit of band-aid. Underneath it was an awesome wine. Cigar, tobacco, pencil, dark fruits. Great texture. All the pieces in the place still and no real sign of decline. Most likely at peak for some time. No further evolution so drink up. Score would have been considerably higher if not for the brett....

  August 10, 2022 - Had this alongside the 1991, which I liked a little better. Still a treat and in very good condition given the age.

  June 11, 2022 - Elegant & tasty mature Bordeaux blend consisting of 89% Cab, 8% Cab Franc, & 3% Merlot grapes. Decanted for 3+ hours, and still showing a deep Garnet color, the wine was very well structured & balanced, had vibrant ripe fruits, was full bodied, had delicate tannins and a silky finish. Thoroughly enjoyed drinking this elegant 30 year old wine, but a bit surprised it could still taste this well.
