  November 22, 2020 - This was a really good cab. It’ll be better in a few years. Decanted (mostly because my Reidel decanter looks pretty on my walnut dining room table, not sure it really needed and we didn’t let it sit long).
  
  I could give you a bunch of “tabacco” and “cherries up front” but that’s crap. It tastes like wine, it’s well balanced and we ate it with an awesome, locally sourced filet steak (so good!). It was awesome! It’ll be more awesome when we open the 2nd and 3rd bottles and we’ll be sad we didn’t buy another 3 (though to be honest....it wasn’t a full case wine - my cellar has geometric limits and this wine fits well within those limits but has it’s space and no more).
  
  If you have a few bottles of this...you can drink it now or hold on a bit.

  July 22, 2017 - Del Dotto Barrels & Beasts 2017 (Saint Helena): This was served after I had the 2013 version at the bar. I preferred this 2014 to the 2013 mainly because it displayed some nice blue and black fruit and had a touch more concentration. Not necessarily captivating or compelling in terms of depth and complexity, but it worked well with the final steak dish.
