March 6, 2019 - Mostly agree with La Cave’s tasting notes. This is a nuanced, mostly well balanced wine. With a couple years on from that note, the oak has started to assert itself a bit and push the scale to one side. Still quite good and very enjoyable, especially on day two. The drinking window (18-22) seems about right to me, although I wouldn’t be surprised if this was still drinking well in 6 years.

July 26, 2018 - A very respectable Columbia valley predominant merlot blend. Rich aromas of dark cherry, loam, and some darker berries. Smooth and seamless on the palte with a touch of vanilla from the oak. The fruit boders on the confectionary side, but does not go over the edge. Neutral tannin.
Certainly not what I would deem complex, but enjoyable as a daily drinker. -

October 9, 2017 - Sourced from seven different vineyards within the Columbia Valley (including the Red Mountain, Wahluke Slope and Walla Walla subappellations), this deep ruby wine is a blend of 90% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. With a core of red currant and red cherry fruit, it adds nuances of anise, dark chocolate and black olive. Full-bodied, freshly acidic and with nicely integrated alcohol (14.27%), it has good mid-palate density, medium-weight tannins, seamless oak and a lengthy finish. Very well-crafted, this is an example of how blending can lead to a synergistic result. Drink now-2023.
