October 20, 2022 - Interesting Cab with dark blackberry fruit with notes of tobacco, cassis, lavender and dark chocolate on the finish. Absolutely needs an hour or two decant for the tight tannins to integrate with the fruit…but when it does, this is a terrific wine that has even more upward potential. Look forward to the next one.

February 4, 2022 - I really liked this, especially after a couple of hours of slow ox. Very smooth yet energetic. Very silky with nice fruit (mostly black cherry). Would do very well as a food wine as well.

January 14, 2022 - Similar to my previous report. Blackberry and currant on the tip of the tongue. Mouth-filling, full-bodied wine. However, it seems that the acid and tannin are much more subdued. Pleasant berry/earthy sensation under the rear palate. Very pleasant aftertaste. Ready for drinking, now, if you have it, but. also, no harm in letting it rest for multiple more years.
