    October 13, 2022 - 1/5 bottle bouchonnée
    Needs to be open early

February 3, 2022 - Drinking beautifully with earthy yet attractive fruit. Plenty of secondary notes such as tobacco, baking spices, slate, and violets. This is a dark structured wine that is still showing plenty of tannins and good density. I see no problem with revisiting this wine in ten years.

March 15, 2020 - Brick colored with a little bit of sediment. Smells like black currant, fig, bell pepper and tobacco. The body is medium to full with some residual acidity.

October 27, 2019 - Interesting and mature wine. Opened to compare to the 2003 of this wine opened yesterday. This was for sure less showy and more earthy. Almost some green pepper notes. Some black cherry and blackcurrant, more earth on the palate. Overall, nicely balanced and compex. Nice length of finish. 2003 wins by a clear margin however.

May 4, 2019 - Rather dark and opaque but quite possibly standing it up for just a day was insufficient. A pleasant but not complicated nose of plum and black currant, but on the palate it comes across as monolithic, a bit extracted and also a bit tired. Some acidity provided a jolt of freshness on the back end, at least. Blind I'm not sure I would have pegged this as Bordeaux, let alone Margaux.
