May 17, 2019 - Still alive 14 years from vintage. Mature golden color, aromatic, cooked stone fruits and petrol in the background. Full bodied mouthfeel, still some fresh fruit and acid, but terciary notes of herbs and apricot pit dominate now. Lengthy finish with bitterness. Paired well with veggie frittata. Very interesting to see how these Rhône varieties age.

April 23, 2010 - Rhone & Rhone Style Wine Tasting (Pappas Bros.): A fairly interesting wine. The nose had lemon and apple, some grass and floral notes, and a bit of petrol at the end. The palate was pretty funky, with citrus and grass. It finished with some petrol.

May 25, 2009 - Best just slightly chilled, which allowed the Marsanne and Roussane , with their oily texture, to shine. Medium acidity, lemon and melon nose with apples and citrus flavors. Solid Rhone-style white

December 23, 2008 - Very simple and disappointing esp after the intriguing nose on the first bottle. At this point I think it is fair to say no wine goes well with levivot. Oh well.
