November 12, 2022 - A hint of brett here too, but which blew off quite quickly. Quite similar at first to the Grézeaux, but then it opened up beautifully, with a very pure nose of redcurrant and red cherry, turning into wild strawberry as the evening went on. The fruit is quite restrained, but very attractive - red fruits again, with a very silky, elegant middle section of blackberry, before a long, persistent finish with just the right amount of crispness at the end. Perhaps not for the long haul but very attractive now. Mathieu Amirault has really improved the level here, adding a purity which was not there before. Good value at 20€.

February 16, 2022 - 90 Granate bastante cubierto aún. Nariz varietal. Vegetales, pimiento, carne cruda. Intensidad media. En boca el tanino está completamente fundido, suave. Buena acidez. Buena estructura, sin ser corpulento. Aún aguantará mucho, pero ya está en un buen momento de consumo.

August 25, 2018 - From limestone soils, non-amphore. Red fruit, tart cherry, cranberry and some floral notes on the nose. The lightish-bodied dry and textured palate brings in some ground black pepper, more cranberry and other tart berries, with a good slightly mineral acidity and light but present tannins. Long finish, tapering towards acids. Tense and filled with yet unreleased energy, this will open up with time, but is also enjoyable already now, especially with food.
