  March 12, 2020 - Tasted along side some of the 2017 Boich offerings. Might have influenced my score as the 2017 instant palate fatigue in a glass. The 2014 Estate grown Mt. Veeder wine was definitely more approachable. Rounder in profile but still 4 years out for my palate. I believe the fruit and structure are there to create some more upside. +2 or more....

  July 15, 2019 - Napa 2019; 7/14/2019-7/18/2019: Showed much better than the ‘15. Red berry fruit, typical Veeder profile, faint pine, moss, forest floor, cranberry. The earth is greater than the fruit right now, but this is a good wine that should not be ignored.

  April 2, 2018 - Deep and dark purplish ruby red. A bit mute on the nose, graphite, black currants, purple flowers and black fruits. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Dark and rich palate with tons of minerality, black cherries, spices and a touch floral. Long and lingering finish. Drink from 2019 till 2040.
