November 11, 2023 - A French Bistot dinner in … London (Bouchon Racine , London): This is effectively a classically made wine in the style of more old world Pinots but with the ever extra dollop of ripeness and juicyness of new world . The wine sets out to be a Burgundy though just it can’t escape its terroir. But it’s still young and needs time to develop more of an earthy side. Beautiful nose, cherries , soft floral side too. Bright fruit, soft sweet and ever lightest kiss of spice. The palate is definitely more new world with good ripe justify fruit but it is in no way confectionery or overdone. Treat it like a Premier Cru burgundy, ie let this age more, once the secondary side kicks in ( probably in 2-3 years) this will be even better. Delicious now though. 93 easy

May 31, 2023 - Definitely in its drinking window with some nice secondary development, good acidity, and a lovely balance between oaky sweetness/spice, acidity that integrates with air, and silky tannins. Drink now-2030ish

May 13, 2022 - Well done. Red fruit, cherry, spice. Well balanced.

March 2, 2022 - Consistently great experiences with this wine, and sad to be down to my last bottle. Starting to show some nice signs of tertiary development, but still lovely red fruits and a bit of funky earthiness. Silky tannins and lifted acidity on the palate.

    Drink or hold.
