August 10, 2018 - I think this is the wine I want to add a note to. Label indicates 60 grenache, 20 carignan, 20 syrah. Nose shows earthy funk, dessicated strawberry, dusty cherry, clay, slight floral. Not a bad intensity on the nose for the price. Palate is ripe red fruit, pepper, potting soil, elevated alcohol, and drinkable with fine tannins. It works for sub $10.
