July 27, 2023 - very nice tanins resolved.

June 23, 2023 - Burgundy Tasting (Restaurant Schweizer's, Stuttgart): Glass: Spiegelau Burgundy
My second disappointment of the night. Clear, deep garnet color. Fine deep and fruity nose, but also not very complex and multi-layered.
On the palate a bit drying tannin, 13%. Fresher than the Raphet, some fruit, good balance, good concentration and depth, good length, but also not very exciting. 91

    July 12, 2022 - A storied wine from a bad vintage
This is in its prime and shows the signs of its vintage more than anything. Drink up
Some green notes, suggestive of whole cluster (avant la lettre...). Subtle ripe black fruit on the nose, but mostly sous bois and meaty aromas. Not a very powerful note
    Medium to medium+ tannins
This wine should have been a 93-95 by reputation so although I greatly enjoyed it it didn't live up to its potential

November 22, 2021 - Magnum. Double decanted. Opened up but started to fade and yet still a soft richness on the palate and medium long finish. Delicious.
