January 19, 2014 - My bottle was probably on its last legs. Slight bricking at the edges but color overall is still pretty vibrant. On the nose this was very tarry with earthy herbs. The palate is spicy, plummy dark fruit which is definitely a second stage for this bottling. The finish is a little hot, so what might have been a 90 point wine drops a little. This was a great buy and a nice drink, so glad I picked it up from Last Bottle.

November 23, 2013 - Dark fruit and chocolate. Lovely.

October 11, 2013 - Brownish red coloring. Dried red fruits on the nose. Raisins, dark cherry, a little sweet syrup, soft spices and herbs. Still some lively tannins. Good stuff.
    Day 2. Cinnamon, cherry pie.

September 20, 2009 - Tasted this at the winery. This wine is nice and dark. It has the aromas of dark fruits one would expect. The tannins are nicely balanced, too. This one is very drinkable right now. I tried the Stillwater Cab, too. They are both good, but I gravitated towards this one.

January 27, 2008 - darker fruits, cherry, and some raspberry in aroma, and none of the chunky tannins described in a 'professional' review. It cooked wonderfully into a shallot/wine sauce with steak, and was a good accompaniment to the meal. Light to medium bodied; raspberry yes, but still a lingering darker fruit and black cherry that finishes nicely.
