December 18, 2023 - Lovely modern styled Rioja with a clean dark fruit profile, very well integrated spicy oak flavors, dark chocolate notes and a hint of vanilla. Elegant tannins, good acidity. Excellent now, will drink fine for several years still. - 91 points

November 19, 2020 - Pure temranillo, matured in French oak barrels for 16 months. Deep purple in color. Smoky aroma with palette of minerals, asian spices and blackberry, well structured and becoming already complex.

June 13, 2020 - A very captivating nose around a center of chocolate, cola and espresso. We drank it quite cool because it was very humid an warm. Tasting it is diffirent because of a really strong and mineralic acidity that ist not so typical for the wine. But since the year was quite cool and wet, it stands out a little. This one may need some more years to reach it's optimum drinking stage but it is already a beautiful wine. The chocolate, coffee notes won't stop and the wine was well accompanied with a grilled roast beef. I do not see a lot of complexity but surely over time there will be some more. Finally it has not the precision of La Nieta, but it is a very good and enjoyable wine. I Would like to try it again in 2 or 3 years.

May 27, 2019 - By all means a more than outstanding wine meritting more than 90p but I must admit I quickly grew tired of it tonight. It is dense, oaky, liquorous and the tannins are on the obtrusive end of the spectrum despite the wines obvious ripeness. Modern Rioja taken half a step too far imho
