January 20, 2022 - Subsequent notes on this wine from four years ago. Medium-dark reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe red cherries, blueberries & strawberries with overtones of floral notes of violets & spices, sandalwood, earthy/dusty, tea, some cola, minerals & a hint of vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, earthy, minerals & a hint of vanilla. Presently drinks quite well at 7 years of age but could develop further with additional aging.

October 23, 2020 - Very nice Oregon Pinot. A little tighter and more elegant than some others I have drank from the state.

September 7, 2019 - in fine shape with its simple ribbon ridge deliciousness and less opulence than other areas of willamette, a positive for me

October 27, 2018 - OR (3) & CA (3) Pinots (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Slightly closed; Blk rasps, poss plums, some floral?

P: Med body; NICE frt met by some astringent pucker which QUITE resolves by the LONG, slightly tangy finish with a distinct swtness to the very, VERY fine tannins -- & only OCCASIONAL *hints* of a very, VERY slight bitterness. For now & the next 4 yrs. DELIGHTFULLY done! My EXC-/EXC, arguably the higher based upon QPR. [Check with this vendor if interested in their very COMPETITIVE price.]

August 13, 2018 - Consistent with previous bottles. Medium ruby in color, this wine reveals cinnamon, Asian spices, red cherry, pomegranate and white flowers on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with more spice notes and defined cola elements. The finish is well integrated with brisk acidity that frames the red fruits and spice elements. 13.6% abv.

Purchased for $30US, this is a complex, delicious offering that is just entering its prime drinking window. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 of the bottles I purchased.
