  May 8, 2017 - Transparent ruby in glass. Slightly smoky nose fresh black cherry. Balanced and pleasant, easy drinking dark fruit with a hint of spice, great weeknight wine.

  January 25, 2017 - Dark purple with hint of ruby red. Medium nose with black cherry, sweet tobacco, and plum. Dry and somewhat astringent on the palate. Starts out very strong but quickly drops off and lacks almost any mid-palate, quickly becoming thinner and more diluted. Really no taste in the mouth. The finish has nice length but becomes drier and drier as it progresses.
