January 26, 2014 - Denne ble åpnet åtte timer før middag, smakeglasset da var tight og preget av tjære og roser. Svært "maskulin" med brutale tanniner, røff struktur, tjære, tobakk, roser. Ganske rød og ung frukt. Luftig finish, til tross for tanninene. 90p - flott til oksehaleragu.

August 3, 2008 - An excellent bottle - the aromas of wood and leaves mixed with sweet fruit was very notable, and it was a joy to re-acquaint myself with this barolo. Nicely developed since my previous bottle.

May 27, 2006 - Garnet colour, medium depth - aromatic with raspberry, fruit and tar on the nose. Balanced with taste of tar and medium to long aftertaste. Decanted a couple of hours before tasting day 1. Developed nicely to the next day - somewhat more pronounced sweet nose with hints of prune.
