Community Tasting Notes 2

August 23, 2017 - Medium nose is surprisingly Rhone-esque, blackberry, white pepper, game, iron, violets. Palate matches, fresh but funky too, black plum, spice notes, blood iron, fresh earth, blackberry, medium plus tannins. French style, little more fruit than that, great QPR, surprising wine.

Only one glass, but I liked this. A lot. Classic Syrah flavor, long and nicely balanced, tannins barely noticeable. Dark fruits predominate, with background notes of leather. Good QPR too.
