  November 20, 2018 - The entry-level red wine from Bernabeleva, 100% Garnacha, 40-80 year old vines in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, 13.5% ABV. Fragrant, soft and juicy, wonderful Grenache typicity, fresh and floral, more rose than violet, fresh red berries and an autumnal touch, peach, silky but with quite a firm kick of potent tannins, spicy minerals, pure and transparent, complete finish, good length. Quite a star with an improvised stew of squid, potatoes, onion, tomato, chicken stock, dried ham and smoked paprika. And some white Navaherreros 2015 (see previous note).

  May 27, 2018 - Reliable and enjoyable, crisp minerality and fruit. Love this style--excellent with food. Cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, delicious. QPR delight, especially if you are of a mind to Gamay, Bourgogne, mountain Nebbiolo.
