Community Tasting Notes 3

  • winchester-xi Likes this wine:

January 3, 2018 - I've worked through most of a case of this and am liking it a lot--more so than any of the last few vintages. It benefits from a slight chill--not cellar temp, just a few degrees below room temp.

May 29, 2017 - Vinosphere (Town Hall, Sydney): polished red berry fruit, slight tobacco leaf, pencil shavings, fresh and lovely.

May 10, 2017 - Cabernet Franc Masterclass (Bel & Brio, Barangaroo): Red berry, slightly tart fruit, tiny hints of pencils shavings and herbaceous notes but also a quite perfumed element. More of the same on the palate, fleshy and juicy with fine textured tannins. Balanced. Kind of yum.
