April 12, 2021 - Deep ruby color, nearly opaque. Wonderful nose of black cherry, light “dusty” oak. The dark cherry fruit dominates the flavor profile, with side notes of tart cherry, blackberry and oak. A silky-smooth mouthfeel, with excellent balance of tannins and acidity with an elegant flavor depth without a heavy weight. Medium long finish emphasizing again the balance of tart cherry fruit, well-behaved tannins and another touch of oak. Excellent QPR!
