February 5, 2021 - Don’t get the criticisms. The black and blue fruit is concentrated and extracted but it is perfectly complemented by the generous acidity and finely grained tannins. As others noted, I don’t perceive any heat. Nice wine.

decanted for 5 hours, still a Baby but for me a bit too extracted and too powerful. The 15,2 alc is almost well integrated but still noticeable. We will see what happens in a decade. 93-94+ -

Closed nose of dark fruit, some oak, hard to assess, much more closed than the outstanding 2007 we had yesterday. Tannins clearly softer and better integrated than with the Bettina 2014 alongside. This wine definitely needs the additional 7 years if it wants to be on par with the 07. To be revisited. 94+
