September 21, 2006 - September Wine Club Tasting: The Loire (Gibby's): A bonus bottle thrown in at the end of the tasting. Pale golden color. Ripe fruit aromas with a hint of petrol. On the palate, a nice level of acidity carries ripe peach and stone fruit flavors, with honey showing up on the finish. 89-90.

August 16, 2006 - Allred brought this to Haggis' house on Saturday. I tried this after I tried the 2002 and 1990 Vouvrays from Gauthier-Lhomme. 2003 was not as good of a vintage as either 2002 or1990. The whether was hotter and some of the wines seem flabby. This was a very nice wine but it seemed to lack acidity. Nice Summer afternoon wine but I somehow got the impression that it should be more than that. 87-88 points.
