June 2, 2019 - This is upsetting... I asked someone to open a bottle of Kabinett sitting right next to this bottle, and they opened a Muller auction bottle instead. While it is amazing, it is not ready for prime time. IT IS sharp, and sweet, full of florals and spices, and layered with a perfect melange of Mulleresque traits, and stayed that way for days... I just wasn't wanting Auslese, especially of this level, nor was it showing what it can really be.

September 16, 2016 - Grosser Ring Versteigerung 2016 (Trier): The first of the two Le Gallais wines on auction this year, and what a wine. A triumph!
