  But what a surprise with serious high altitude Syrah from Valencia! The alcohol isn't shy at 14.5% but it isn't really noticeable either. If tannins soften and fruit stays this could be a 90 point wine in five, but if the tannins stay and fruit fades, it could be 80 point wine in same time. I have good hopes for the future but my strong recommendation for the winemaker is to change from 70% new oak/30% used oak barrels to the inverse.

  November 3, 2016 - Unos 10 meses en barricas de roble francés es la crianza de este monovarietal de syrah calificado como Vino de Pago y que ofrece una bien definida expresión frutal, acompañada de suaves matices especiados. Aunque la fruta se muestra con madurez el fondo, de corte balsámico, aligera y refresca la sensación global. En boca entra bien, con cuerpo medio, tanino dulce y pulido, muy bien integrado en el conjunto, buena acidez, estructura media y gran longitud. La finura de su paso por boca, sin renunciar a su carácter mediterráneo, es su principal virtud.
