September 9, 2022 - A good example of Amarone. Carries its 16% alcohol reasonably gracefully. Highly extracted but not overpowering nor overly sweet as some Amarones can be-Overall things are in balance. Tannins are fading. Would drink soon.

September 3, 2022 - Displays minor bricking with a ruby core and garnet on the edges. Raisins, prunes, chocolate covered raspberries, baking spices and unresolved oak. Oak is still very prevalent and overwhelms the red fruits, tannin and acidity. The pizza definitely made this more palatable, but the oak adversely creates some imbalance. Drink now, unlikely to improve with further cellaring. Future pass.

December 29, 2021 - Not an expert on Valpolicella, but I really enjoyed this one. It is what I always wished a Pinot Noir would taste like, Light, comples and wanting another sip.
