  May 16, 2023 - Nice young oyster salinity on the nose. Palette nice and saline to a lesser degree. Notice little Brett. Little earthy notes tied to the Brett. But a nice autumnal Brett. Nice bottle.

  January 31, 2020 - Framed in a raisin-like sweetness, this lovely Sagrantino shows dark berries, road tar, and licorice components well melded together. It glides across the palate with massive yet refined tannins. There is something very special about these tannins; they are so round and almost elegant, yet massive as expected from Sagrantino of this region.

  March 29, 2017 - Fortunately not the blockbuster you expect; it is a charming even creamy wine in the start, however in the midtaste there is real power and spiciness. This wine has a long life and a bright future.
