March 31, 2024 - Splash decanted and poured into glasses for 1 hour before tasting. Clear, purple ruby. Intense nose. This drank better than the 15 Gap's Crown. Classic big CA Pinot with red fruit profile, full bodied and well balanced/integrated. Powerful but smooth with a long finish. Great stuff, nothing off. $$73 Winery direct.

November 2, 2023 - Strong ruby color. Red raspberry and cherry fruit. A little bit of barnyard at the end. Food friendly acidity at the end. Not a ton of complexity--maybe I waited too long given the other reviews.
