Community Tasting Notes 1

June 26, 2022 - Decanted and showing no visible sediment. Dark red with brick hues, transparent and light in saturation.
The nose shows scents of pine and camphor along with herbs, spice, earth and a core of dark cherry, pomegranate syrup, red apple skin and fresh picked raspberries that have a very slightly stewed characteristic all wrapped up with a coastal presence.
The palate shows a supple mouthfeel, balanced with a high-toned acidity and smooth yet grippy tannins. Flavors translate from the nose showing a core of red fruits; raspberry, cherry, pomegranate and red apple skin that come laced with notes of herbs, spice, earth, dried flowers, saline and mineral. The wine finishes with a touch of warmth of and a touch of a port-like quality.
