October 27, 2008 - On its downside and tumbling fast, this is very secondary showing notes of soured butter, hazelnut and maybe a hint of baked apple. Smooth, though tart on the palate with almost zero fruit flavors to be found.

September 4, 2007 - Not nearly the wine that the 2002 was, likely due to the extreme heat in Oregon in 2003. Aromas of cream, hazlenuts, cardamom, and salted butter beckon the nose but don't quite gel in the mouth — although this is fresh and tasty, it's also a bit fat and unfocused. 66% Dijon Clones, 34% Old Vine Wente Clone (the 2002 was 50/50).

Tasted June 16, 2007 at the winery. Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Slightly spicy nose of cinnamon, apples and pears. Flavors are exactly the same on the palate. Light to medium acidity and body. Drink over the short term.

March 25, 2007 - Nothing special. Would not buy again.

March 11, 2007 - Apples and pears on the fresh nose. The wine has those flavors plus some light vanillaish oak and quite a bit of acid for a chard.
