April 1, 2023 - Found this hiding in the cellar. Drinking very well now, this is showing the nutty, oily character that some Italian whites get with some age. Light bodied, fresh, and crisp, really nice tactile feel on the palate. Went down quickly.

September 23, 2018 - C enjoyed quite a bit but I found it slightly less appealing. Only had a sip though. Crisp, a little floral.

June 20, 2018 - Per back label, 40% Chardonnay, 35% ribolla gialla, 25% friulano; 12.5% abv. Produced and bottled by Ronco Del Gnemiz, imported by Massican. Wait, what?

More online research yields the info that this is the first vintage of a collaboration between Dan Petroski of Massican and Ronco Del Gnemiz, with the same grape blend as Massican’s Annia bottling, though different percentages and styling. Named in tribute.

Light straw golden color. Nose initially strongly gassy/reductive, with time a slightly nutty golden honey note. Palate surprisingly rich and full bodied, lightly lemony/some lemon rind bitterness with a deep golden-fruited core, good acidity brightening things out, hint of grassy flavor on finish.

A surprising, deep wine, I enjoyed it with food. 92 pts

September 20, 2017 - Light yellow. Very dry, light bodied style. Lemony minerality. Refreshing and extremely quaffable.

July 7, 2017 - Very beautiful white blend. We took this bottle to kick off date night at a favorite LV Italian restaurant and it went very well with the clam appetizer and even better with the grilled Lobster, grilled octopus, and grilled fresh veggie platter. A very terrific, drinkable, and delightful wine that is perfect for fresh summer dinner fare. I hope Dan makes this Italian offering again as I will need more.
