November 18, 2016 - Clear, crimson red with clear rim, almost non-existant tears moving fast.
Clean, med- intensity, aromas of Red cherries, cranberries, strong black pepper, black olives and cologne.
Dry, med- body, med-acidity, med- tannins, med- alcohol, with further tastes of smoked red currants, strawberries, beef jerky, and pu'er tea. Shortish finish, a bit too young although due to lack of balance this vintage will not have a long life. Not bad for lightweight Pinot.
