March 2, 2020 - This bottle was more closed and one-dimensional than the previous. Maybe this is shutting down, or the mid-palate breadth and length of finish is just not great? I will keep the third bottle, probably another 3 year before I try it.

December 26, 2018 - Blackberry, black cherry, dusty earth, leather, toasted oak. Medium body, medium + acid, medium + tannin. Youthful, needs time in bottle to integrate. Everything is in place to age gracefully. Not a huge wine. Very good.

Opens nicely immediately with interesting nose - savory, olives, herbs
Good balance with acids forward followed by blackberryish fruit
Finish rounds out well in the mouth
Granular but subdued tannins follow
Perhaps a few more years in the bottle?
