April 8, 2023 - Great mature wine that I enjoyed with leg of lamb. Complex fruit with undertones of leather and chocolate. Great finish. Dry apricot urging another sip. .

May 30, 2021 - Decanted off a tiny bit of sediment for 4 hours. At a relative's house with less than ideal glassware.
Nose is aromatic with spicy red fruit, smoke, and cigar box. Palate is smooth and cool on entry, but develops some zing from acid and tannins. Finish is drying and chewy--dried red fruits, clove, black pepper, and warm spices.
Drink now, in a rocking place. Very good balance of age and fruit. Probably could age for a bit longer but no need to wait.3 people found this helpful Comment
