    January 13, 2019 - Stunning.

September 16, 2017 - Unscrewed and poured. Deep, sappy aroma of dark berries, menthol. Pure, fresh cherries up front, some bitterness with a bit of licorice on the back end. Great vin de soif, but much more than that.

June 23, 2017 - The last of our stash, and undeniably the best. Tonight's bottle had a classic Gamay profile, including the high acidity levels expected of this grape. It reminded me of nothing so much as a Chermette Cuvee Traditionelle Beaujolais, which in my book is high praise indeed. There is a lightness on the palate and a brightness to the decidedly red fruit that characterizes our favorite non-Cru Beaujolais (though it veers more to the Chermette side than the JP Brun side).

April 7, 2017 - A bit jammy and lactic at this point, it nonetheless has a classic Gamay profile. I expect that this wine will settle down soon to produce a fine l, lighter-bodied Gamay.
