March 9, 2024 - Enjoyed over 2 nights. No signes of decline at all. This wine has the strength and power to improve now or lay down for decades.

July 29, 2023 - Classic Napa Mountain wine with rich black fruits and powerful, dusty tannins. There is good acidity here to keep it fresh and no sense of over-ripeness. Intense and complex with notes of eucalyptus and dark spices. This has the balance to improve with further bottle age. 93+

    August 20, 2022 - Appearance
The wine is a clear deep ruby.

    Nose
The wine exhibits pronounced developing aromas of black cherry, black plum, blackberry, black currant, dusty earth, licorice, sage, chocolate, vanilla, roasted meat, and graphite.

    Palate
The wine is dry with a full body, high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, and exhibits pronounced flavors of black cherry, black plum, blackberry, green, pepper, chocolate, vanilla, savory herbs.

    Conclusion
Perfection in a glass. One hour decant. The quality of the wine is outstanding, but it will develop beautifully in the bottle for as long as I live. Will try another one of these in 5-10 years. Life and wine are good!

May 1, 2021 - Napa - Lokoya - Vice Versa - Memento Mori: The Diamond mountain was probably the most approachable now. Even at this point in its life, I can see this wine being a crowd pleaser with a good decant. Dark red fruits, fine tannins and good mouthfeel was the name of the game for this wine and it is very clear why this is the first wine we start off with. For me, this was #3 of the tasting but if I were to bring all these to a party today, I can imagine this being #1 for most. It is so accessible now that it will be interesting to taste this in another 5-15 years to see how it has evolved and changed.

April 3, 2021 - Lighter than the other lokoyas with less ripe cherry and needing more time in the bottle. Good but least favorite of the flight
