April 13, 2018 - Mid red and bricking. Initially light weight but builds with breathing. Meaty, earthy and a bit barnyard. Pleaant with osso bucco.

May 7, 2016 - Weeping cork was concerning, definitely past it's best. Not a deep red as I expected, earthy, and a little brandy(?) to smell, quite smooth and subtle 'mature' berry fruit taste.

September 12, 2010 - Very dark colour, rich smoky aromas and surprisingly still some berry fruit. Taste is full in the mouth, soft tannins some cherry or plum? Impressive.

January 27, 2009 - Raiding Danny's cellar at Chinese New Year (Club House, Casa Bella, Hong Kong): Colour showing some age. Waft of smoke, some dried mint, little bit of alcohol comes through on the end of the nose. Palate is mellow, a little edge to it but drinking beautifully.

February 9, 2008 - Chinese New Year wine night (Crown Wine Cellars, Hong Kong): This was sacrificed at the end of the evening. Every bit as good as last time.

June 18, 2007 - Danny's leaving dinner (again) (Crown Wine Cellars, Hong Kong): Earthy mint, a little fumey. A little smoke. A complex wine.

June 16, 2007 - This wine has aged nicely. Let it breath for about 1 hour at least. The tannins were nicely melded with the fruit and very enjoyable. Brought this wine back from Australia when we attended the 2000 Olympic
Games. Defiantely a winner. It is a drinnk now wine.
