January 9, 2019 - Consistent with previous bottles. Pale ruby in color, this wine reveals wet soil, cardamon, black cherry and cinnamon on the nose. The mouth feel is lighter bodied and brings out subtle mineral and black tea elements. The finish is short and choppy with low acidity that fails to bring the fruit and subtle spice components together. 13.0% abv.
Purchased for $18US, this wine's aromatics are pleasant but the thin acidity knocked my score down multiple points.
