March 11, 2018 - Sorry don’t get the positive spins on this wine. Vegetal and herbal, with some funny vanilla/fabreze scents and flavors. Complexity in some not very flattering or enjoyable ways. Tasted it; decided it would be just fine for the bolognese sauce, which was delicious.

April 27, 2017 - This was a very pleasant surprise. Had very low expectations going in. Sweet plum fruit on the initial attack, with milk chocolate on the mid-palate. Finishes with a dark chocolate/espresso note. Well balanced, soft tannins on the finish. Very easy-to-drink.

December 9, 2016 - The wine looks ruby colored and the legs are medium. It smells like cherry, chocolate and tobacco. It tastes like chocolate, tobacco, jam, cherry and pomegranate. The body is medium and has juicy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low/medium acidity and medium tannin.

This is a very juicy and smooth wine. Goes well on its own or with food. We really are enjoying this wine. It has a slight spice and lots of fruit. This wine is drinking great today and I can't wait to see what it is like once it ages some.
