  December 7, 2023 - I'm not going to put points on it because it should be judged against type, but I don't know what type to compare it too. It seemed so manipulated that it wasn't enjoyable at all the first night. I got mostly the asparagus that went into the cat pee scents. Not awesome. I gave it a 2nd night to hopefully have it settle in with air/time. It didn't come completely around, but was less pungent for sure. It also showed waxy elements both nights.
  
  I think I'd have guessed a southern Rhone if blind, as it had some honey and sweet pit fruit aspects like peach/apricot. I just thought it wasn't of type for a Sauvignon Blanc as compared to what is produced in Loire, S. Cal, or even the grassy/grapefruity New Zealand style. I said "manipulated" above since I don't know how else one gets this varietal to smell/taste like this. I love Miani for the native Italian varietals, but have not enjoyed their version of the white noble grape wines - and I never tasted the Merlot. I realize I am in the minority here, so I don't know if this will help anyone, but hopefully it does.

  May 27, 2018 - Klar, strågul med grønnstikk. Rik på nese med stikkelsbær, pære, honningmelon, lime og liljekonvall.
  Tett, konsentrert og intens frukt med høy fruktmodning. Sødmefull, aromatisk og rik, men allikevel stram og syrefrisk. Frisk, spisset syre. Tørr, men aromatisk utgang med innslag av appelsinskallbitterhet og mild mineralitet. Flott lengde. Drikker flott allerede.

  July 18, 2017 - A gorgeous wine, mint and grapefruit on the nose, with white pepper on the palate. The 2015 Saurint shows great tension and will benefit from a few years rest, but boy this is attractive today.
