June 24, 2022 - Maintaining the score for the final glass of the bottle opened a little over 1 month ago and kept under cork.
    Rich nose of everything Sauternes.
On the palate, the sweetness is almost cloying and the flowery endgame is gone. Now dominated by layers of variations of crème caramel. Superbly integrated aromas and all-in-all an ultra-delicious wine.

Might be this btl (colour is is really dark amber) but the level of complexity is a bit under what could have been expected for this château in 1978.

Will try to source another, more lighter in colour.

May 17, 2022 - Slight oxidation on the nose, mixed with fine botrytics character.

In the mouth, the sweetness is high and the wine gives a slightly clumsy impression. A touch of beautiful Oloroso character also emerges in a good way. Longer than a 10 mile run for the untrained. At the end of the end, a taste of both violet and lilac emerges. Could call it hyacinth just as well.

    A big and muscular wine.

    ---------------

May 20, 2021 - Lemon, ginger, vivacious nose. Elegant, seamless, long on the palate, barley sugar, young for its age, zippy, shows some oak notes. Unctuous.

September 26, 2020 - An emotional bottle give its a birth year wine so we will always rate with a bias.
Impressively youthful, even the color was of a 90s wine not a 42 year old. Brigth and energetic, glossy in color and of course with all the textbook notes of soft honey, light caramel , botrytis and an apricot feel. Solid acidity and this wine will live to see another 5 American presidents for sure. Not sure it would like to but def has the legs. 94

July 25, 2020 - Apricot, good length, I should have paid more attention.
