Community Tasting Notes 7

November 4, 2021 - Lovely complex pinot nose of cherry, smoke, anise and more. Medium bodied with soft tannins. Finish lets the wine down as the relatively high 14pc alcohol intrudes and there is some bitterness from over extraction. At £24 some years ago it's ok value but not great.

November 5, 2019 - Red fruits and wet forest floor. Decent Pinot for the price.

October 22, 2019 - Heavily oaked lightly tannic pinot with some earthy characteristics. Good for what it is. Not deep or special, but quite tasty in its own way.

July 30, 2019 - Fine Wines SG - The World of Pinot Noir: Burgundy vs the World (Fine Wines SG): A caramelised yet grassy nose. Some lavender florals, blackberry and sour cherry, and grass on the palate. Quite meaty as well

January 15, 2018 - I was not as big a fan of this as some of the previous notes. Crystal clear in the glass and a very light white to look at. I found this simply too young, and I was drinking from a half bottle too. If you like fruit forward wines maybe you will like more than I did.
