June 13, 2018 - I'm betting given vintage and grape that this was a tad better a year or two ago in terms of aromatic expression. But as of right now it's a damn good day to day dinner white. Some of those more aromatic floral notes you get from Muscat are still around on the nose. The palate is nice and clean. Plenty of acidity and the fruit isn't big. Just nice. This drinks like a lower end European white that I often complain you can't get affordably from California. Good stuff and at a decent price.

January 26, 2018 - This was a really great wine. Nose of white flowers, white peach, salt and minerality. Tastes like orange blossoms, stone fruit, sea breeze and fresh cut grass. Really nice acidly and minerality as counterpoint to the complex aromatics. Drank with lemon pasta and Suzanne Goin's slow cooked kale, both a bit spicy, and it was a nice pairing. Ned bought as part of a mystery six pack from the the winery - what a nice surprise!
