April 10, 2023 - Big rich nose of cassis, cherry, oak, vanilla, hint of mint or eucalyptus behind that. Rich and full bodied. Big firm tannins, but still approachable. Juicy but balanced acidity. Fruity, tannic, and bold. Long long finish keeps me coming back for more. Perfect with prime rib (what I'm having) or steak.

January 4, 2021 - Consistent with previous notes, excellent full bodied cab with notes of dark fruit and chocolate. Cherry and blackberries with hint of vanilla and cassis. Well structured tannins and medium acidity leading to a long fruit filled finish with hints of leather and oak. An excellent example of an Alexander Valley Cab from the Hall stable.
