September 20, 2023 - Fairly complex wine after 8y in the cellar! Earthy & smoke, high acidity with red fruit (cherry, raspberry) compensating high alcohol (14.5), spices

Cornelissen has certainly improved from 2012 vintage on. This showed a touch of spritz and a touch of walnut skin oxidation, but this has been as affected as any of his wine I've had recently and it was delicious. Still I wouldn't let it sit once opened.1 person found this helpful Comment -

March 10, 2018 - On aime ou on n'aime pas les vins de Cornelissen. Je n'ai jamais eu de bouteille défectueuse ou très "nature". Oui, c'est cher (60$), mais je trouve qu'il y a un côté très unique. Est-ce le sol volcanique? Le vin évolue passablement dans le verre et ne laisse personne indifférent et cela me fait voyager, des souvenirs d'un très beau périple en Sicile.
