Community Tasting Notes 2

October 2, 2019 - Black currant, plum cassais and other spices notes on the nose. A bit above medium bodied with blackberry notes upfront with a good amount of acidity, deepening to plum through the middle and adds a good amount of acidity and tart blackfruit notes towards the back. Acidity is a bit out of balance with the fruit, so the wine comes off as a bit tight (even after time open) and somewhat lacking in integration. The fruit notes are solid, but they aren't as balanced as I would've hoped from a 2013. May round out a bit with more time, but I don't think the complexity is there to warrant it. May 10, 2017 - Aroma de borracha, acetona, ameixa escura. Levemente adocicado mas de bom corpo e estrutura razoável.
