November 30, 2016 - A superb riesling of great character and depth.
Plenty of fruit a mix of tropical and orange zest.Some green apple not much but just enough to get me excited.
The low alcohol 9% is allowing all those sweet fruits to show through.
It's a nice pleasant dry finish as well , non of that over sickly dripping in honey taste.
I. rate this Riesling high amongst New Zealand rieslings and far superior to the Aussie cousins that our wine tasters go gaga over.
I can say this without prejudice because I am an Australian its just that the lemon/lime style does nothing for me and could be any other grape variety
