July 29, 2017 - Wife's 40th bday bash. Managed to score this birth year wine from a niche merchant in Singapore, she did good. This was simply singing; cherry red bright with life, a subtle nose of fruit and sweet herbs. Alcohol was just right to make it fresh on taste, and bring out secondary flavours of chocolate, grain, raisin crumble. A rare treat to have something so aged turn out so well.

December 25, 2010 - At first had a way over the top raisin juice thing going. A tad sweet, almost port-like. A few hours in and it totally mellowed out and the flavors really came together.
