November 24, 2014 - Cork 3/4 soaked, came out mostly clean. 4 hour ox, no decant.
Clean, clear ruby, with slight bricking. Fine and floral in the nose, with cherries, clean leather, and a hint of tobacco. Fresh on the palate with lovely acidity, slight dried fruit, and hint of caramel. Elegant, poised, and with lift.
Upon opening the aroma from the bottle had tired, old notes. In the glass this was very fresh indeed.1 person found this helpful Comment
