June 24, 2023 - Beautiful rich ruby color. Very floral nose of freshly crushed black cherries and a bit of earthiness. Still very vibrant and youthful. Notes of tart cherries, vanilla, and hints of spice. Nice acidity. Well balanced. Medium+ finish. Drinking well now but still has room to go.

October 11, 2018 - Extremely well made with a nice interplay of acidity and bright tempranillo fruit. Made in the international style, which is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because Riojas such as this do not suffer from the former Rioja characteristic of oxidation and old wood. A curse because wines such as this are difficult to pinpoint as to origin if tasted blind. For example, I might mistake this as a Corbieres or Minervois. Nevertheless, this is a very tasty addition to anyone's cellar.
