  April 11, 2022 - More earthiness that your typical Napa, which is why I like it as much as I do. Cherries and dark fruit on the fore, followed by crushed fall leaves and clay with vanilla on the finish.

  January 31, 2020 - Echoing others, good QPR, solid cabernet if somewhat over oaked. Dark plum purple color, opaque, nice berried nose, cassis, oak, spice and dark cocoa envelop a rich and extracted wine. I enjoyed the 2014 better: it seemed a far more refined, layered and silky wine. This wine may very well develop over time, long decant or lay it down for several more years.

  August 4, 2018 - Well integrated oak. Very nice dark ruby color. Thought nose was muted a bit. Also was expecting more intensity of fruit. Just like the previous notes state. This needs 2-4 years minimum to lay down. Decent now but see it's potential. 90-91
